SPOM has hosted many important dignitaries for official Dining-In events. The ante-room that you are currently standing in is used during formal occasions to host guests awaiting the arrival of the Guest of Honour. Officers and guests mingle over drinks before adjourning for dinner at the dining hall upstairs. Amongst the important dignitaries hosted by SPOM was our late founding Prime Minister Lee Kuan Yew, who attended Dining-In events on 3 occasions in 1967, 1977 and 2011.
