The lounge is where officers have informal meetings over drinks. Adorned on the wall are plaques given by visiting officers from various foreign law enforcement forces which included the USA, UK, Hong Kong, ASEAN countries, Australia and New Zealand, attesting to the deep bonds and friendships which SPOM has formed with police forces worldwide.
The large plaque that is hung in the middle of the lounge
was donated by Justice of Peace Haji Ambok Sooloh (1891-1963), a well-known businessman, for a shooting
competition in 1929. Throughout the years, the plaque has been well-preserved
and the photograph embossed in the plaque has not faded.
